Turkey Hunting
Luc and Bob went on a youth turkey hunt this past weekend. They saw a turkey. Thats about it.....not really. They saw a few turkeys...and a few deer as you can see in the picture above. Unfortunately, they weren't able to get a shot at a turkey. So they came home empty-handed, a little dissappointed, and a little bit frustrated. At least they had good weather.

Last Week.....
This week will be the last week of high school for Luc....for summer break. But this week is the last week of high school forever for Brandon!!! I can't hardly believe it. He'll be gone for college in just a few short months.
Brandon got a summer job (Thank you, Denny!) with The State of Ohio, Department of Transportation. It's a great job! Brandon is lucky have it.
Luc will still be working for Tom Reigsecker (Delta Truck Sales and Service) this summer. He's been working for him for the last few years.
On top of that, they both are responsible for mowing a couple of people's lawns.
Graduation......next Sunday (May 23)

BIG, BUSY Week!!!
It has definitely been a busy week!!! And its not getting any less busy.
Yesterday was crazy! I went to work....we are SO busy. I took the afternoon off because of the Honors/Awards Ceremony at Delta High School. I had asked for it off. Its really special for the Seniors. That when they announce local scholarship awards. Brandon's class is very smart. The list of kids in his class on the honor roll is long. Brandon was recognized for perfect attendance, Varsity honors (first honors...3.5-4.0 gpa), and he received a local scholarship from the Delta Chamber of Commerce, which was really nice.
Grandma Ginny and Grandma Edie then came over for lunch.
When Brandon came home, I took him to vote for the first time. Very exciting! Then made quite a little fuss over him. It was cute.
After that, I had to prepare a dish to take to...once again...Delta High School....for the FFA Banquet, which is what Luc is involved in. It was very nice. Luc was recognized for Trapshooting, Soil Judging, and Nature Interpretation. It was a nice program, but long.
Then I needed to start preparing for our 3rd or 4th annual Cinco de Mayo party at work. We had a great turnout of dishes brought in for this. ....lots of wonderful mexican dishes!
On top of all that, Brandon is going to prom this weekend and we are trying to prepare for that!! I should be posting some pictures of that soon.
Of course, Bob is out of town on business so I haven't got any help from him this week.
