Last Fall Ball Sunday

Today was the last Sunday for Fall Baseball. The weather was once again great. We've been so lucky with the weather. No more baseball til Spring. I will have a bit of a break, but then pretty soon I will be spending time at Wrestling Meets.

Bachelorette Party

My sister, Lori, is getting married soon! Kelly, my niece, planned a pre-wedding celebration starting at her condo and then to El Camino. Good job, Kelly! Everyone had fun! Lori and Zach will soon be in Key West to tie the knot. Have a great time and I wish you both the best!
P.S. Are you sure I can't babysit Trixie???

Evans Street Station

Saturday had lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Tecumseh with friends Janet, Patty, and (...well...ummm....we'll call her....) "Roxanne". Thanks to everyone for helping me have such a nice birthday! I have great friends!

Craigslist!

Well, I made my very first Craigslist sale!!! So exciting!

When the kids were in grade school, they took music lessons. Music instruments are expensive! They haven't played the instruments in a long while...lost interest, and there's no sense in the instruments setting around. So I posted them on Craigslist and was able to sell them easily. That worked out great and now I have a few extra bucks in my pocket!

Date Night

Friday night the boys went to the Delta Football game, so Bob and I actually got to go out! It was such nice weather, we went for a motorcycle ride to Grand Rapids. We ate dinner at La Roe's....very good food. We never did get to go out and celebrate our Anniversary since everyone in the family (except for me) got whatever virus is going around. So I guess we were making up for that. Oddly enough we ran into our neighbors from Delta, Sandra and Nick!

Lunch with a Friend!

I pack my lunch every day, but every once in a while I go out to lunch with a friend. Today I met my friend, Cheryl for lunch. We go way back! Her and I worked together many years ago (I won’t say how many!) Cheryl, it was great to see you….and since tomorrow is your birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Another beautiful Fall Ball Sunday

This weekend Brandon played in Van Wert, Ohio. It was very warm and sunny. Good thing I p ut sunscreen on....some people got too much sun. But it was a beautiful Sunday. We saw that there was a Sonic in Van Wert, and having never been there, thats where we decided to stop for a bite to eat after the games. I highly recommend the Strawberry Fruit Smoothie!

The rain didn't stop us.....

....from enjoying a cookout on Labor Day. We went to Oak Openings and luckily found a nice shelter house...though the grill was outside of it and we had trouble with the fire. Here you can see Brandon and Bob tending to the grill and protecting the food from the rain. We had hamburgs, brats, corn on the cob, fresh fruit, brownies, and a fabulous pastry.
Karen, Grandma Ginny and Grandma Edie in the Shelter House. We even had a nice fire in the fireplace!

Even Francine got to go!

"Squirrel is really good!"

Ummmm....thats what I hear. Apparently, its squirrel hunting season, and that is what Luc and Scary Bob are eating for dinner. Not Brandon and I.....we ate tacos.....with beef.....that we bought at the store.....
And, no, not taking a picture of this......You'll have to use your imagination.
