OSU Mens Basketball

Brandon and I traveled to OSU to watch the "yuckie buckies" (as Kim would call them) beat Michigan (sorry, Kim!). We had a great time! We got there early and walked around....went to the museum and took pictures as you can see above. Next year...Brandon will be sitting in the student section :) I sure will miss him when he's gone next school year!
When we got home from the game, we went out and got the mail and there he had a letter from OSU stating that he would receive the Trustees Scholarship! Yea! We'll take it!

Can I keep him?

This little guy (or girl) visits me at work. I did have a feeder right there, but he keeps knocking it off. He's probably wondering where the food is. But he's so cute....looking in at me while I work.

So, of course, I stopped after work tonight and bought squirrel food. He'll be so happy tomorrow!

.....Speaking of Love....Trixie is a lover of a dog! She will sit in anyone's lap and just loves to cuddle. So cute!

My New Office

My company, the jdi group, needed to re-organize a little. So, many of us got moved around a bit. I'm still in the same building, which is in Wolf Creek Executive Park (west of Spring Meadows), but in a different office. I really like my new area! I have a window as you can see above. It overlooks a woods. There is a bird feeder out there which attracts all kinds of birds and other wildlife. In the past, on occasion, we have seen deer, fox, and coyotes. But mostly, just tons of birds come everyday. I tried to take a picture of that (the middle picture above), but I know its a little fuzzy. I also decided to put a little feeder right outside my window as you can see in the last picture above. The chickadees seem to be the only birds so far brave enough to come right up to the window. I'm thinking though that the squirrels will find and destroy this feeder eventually.

The problem with all of this???......I better be careful how much I'm staring out my window not doing my work!

Wild Game Dinner

Luc and I, for the second year, volunteered at the Wild Game Dinner fundraiser up at our church. Luc actually was up there a couple of weeknights this past week helping get ready. This kind of thing is so up his alley! They had rabbit, turkey, elk, buffalo, muskrat, racoon, pork, venison, alligator, and more. Luc has been eating "good" all week! They raffle off guns, which Luc always hope to win one but doesn't. Last year I worked at the door. This year I somehow got the job of selling raffle tickets for half off a deer head mount taxidermy!!! What?!? Are you kidding me? I don't even know what I'm talking about! Needless to say, it didn't go that well for me. And surprisingly I saw a lot of camoflouge, deer hunting shirts, and plaid flannel!

What did I eat at this Wild Game Dinner?.....a big, fat nothing!

Wrestling Season Coming to an End

Here is a picture of one of Luc's last wrestling matches. So sad. Though he has been battling Osgood-Schlatters (knee pain/inflammation), elbow pain, rib pain, ringworm, etc, etc So its a good thing wrestling is coming to an end! He can eat like a pig again now too! Yea!

Celebrating Brandon's Birthday

Spoiled again! Brandon's favorite restaurant is T.G.I.Fridays....so that is where he always picks to go for his birthday. The waiter took this picture and somehow I am completely blocking my Mother-in-Law (Sorry, Edie!!). How do you like the OSU-themed cookie cake?
